Weekend Wrap Up

Friday
Randy grilled steaks so we all enjoyed the evening outside. Kylie had fun teaching Mike gymnastics. She's been watching the Olympics maybe a little too much. lol

Saturday
Headed to meet mom at her house for a shopping day in Springfield. Got a lot of misc wedding items. I was shocked to see Mike's cousins, Missey and Anabeth at Hobby Lobby just as shocked as they were to see me since they're from the Lake. While we were in Walmart I got the best text, my friend Lindsay had her baby girl, Abigail Marie weighing 8lb. 14 oz and 21 inches long! Figured it was safe to go ahead and post it on here since others broke the news on facebook. I have yet to see her, hoping to maybe get that accomplished Friday on my day off. I just knew she was going to be a boy, which a week ago I did have a dream she was a girl, it was so real I had to text Lindsay to make sure she didn't have the baby yet. lol Had lunch/supper at Fridays, it was good but not as good as I've had their before.

Sunday
Cleaned house and started getting wedding items done. Put flowers in a few things my dad made, going to be hard not to post a picture and share with you all. It turned out way better than I expected and something I can keep in my house afterwards for decor. Went to Mike's mom and dads for lunch then headed back home to do some painting. I had Mike help me since I needed to move things around in the garage to get to the plywood I was painting on. Ended up turning into a garage cleaning day since there was ants everywhere and possibly maggots under the trash can. YUCK! Fixed cube steak for supper in the crock pot with mashed potatoes and baked zucchini. It was so good!
